- External service partners can use ServLore too, limited to the machines and customers you choose.
- Invite the partner with the role External service partner.
- Then choose the machines and customers they may see.
- This is what a partner sees after signing in.
- Only the machines of their customers, and only the documents that are not internal.
- Contradictions, readiness findings and knowledge capture stay inside your company.
Many machine builders work with service partners in regions they do not cover themselves. A partner gets a member account with the role External service partner: they can ask the AI Service Engineer and read knowledge, sources, assets and cases, but only for the machine models and customers you choose.
Step by step
Section titled “Step by step”- Open Users & roles and choose Invite user.
- Enter the partner’s Email and choose the role External service partner.
- Under Machines, choose Only selected and tick the machine models they service. Under Customers, do the same for their customers.
- Choose Invite user.
- To change the selection later, choose Edit access in the partner’s row.
