- Terminology teaches ServLore your company's words: abbreviations, synonyms and the names technicians really use.
- Add a term with its other names.
- From now on, search, the assistant and contradiction detection treat all these names as one.
- Units are converted too, so values given in different units can be compared.
Every company has its own words: abbreviations, old part names, what technicians say instead of what the manual says. Terminology teaches them to ServLore. Search, the AI Service Engineer and contradiction detection treat a term and its other names as one.
Step by step
Section titled “Step by step”- Open Terminology and choose New term.
- Enter the Preferred term, for example Gleitringdichtung.
- Choose its Category: term, abbreviation, component synonym, product term or unit.
- Under Other names, list the other names separated by commas, for example GLRD, Wellendichtung.
- Add a Description if it helps, and choose Create.
Supported units lists the units ServLore converts, such as bar and psi or degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit, with the spellings it understands. That is how two ranges in different units are compared. Gauge and absolute pressure are never mixed. A unit term must name one of them.
